From the patient....
A real hard day and the move from Boston to the RHCI was tough. "The ambulance ride was horrible and the padding on the cot was paperthin....could feel every bump in the road and no pain killers once again.
To all,
Will post some photos tomorrow. Today was difficult and I imagine that there will be up days and there will down. The good news is that Nancy is actually walking with a walker, unassisted, for several steps in a row. It has only been four days and she can walk from the bed to the door and back in a large room that usually houses 2 people. Anyone remember the Mattie Ross character in True Grit (the young girl who hires John Wayne to catch her father's killer)? Nancy reminds me of her right now.
