Pretty yucky day today. Bad reaction to anesthesia and can't keep anything down. Hopefully we can work through this because the lack of pain medication is pretty bothersome. Thank God for my family who came to help me out [Emily, Wendy, Jesse and Matt]. Happy Wedding Anniversery to my husband (14th).

She is not taking any pain medication at all and hasn't since early this morning. Is she tough or what? Unfortunately no pictures from today but there are some more of the Boston skyline that I wanted to post anyway. Kudos to Emily for coming in from Connecticut to help out this week, Wendy is the organizer without compare and thanks to Jess and soon to be husband Matt for just being there and providing much needed familial support. Stephen called this morning and told me that it is usually this bad for the first five days and then the sun begins to come out. Well, she took two steps forward and then three back to the bed today and that is progress already. 10 PM and all is well. See you all tomorrow.....

ReplyDeleteAunt Nancy...it is hard to see you feeling so crappy. However, to see you work with the PT and see that DETERMINED look on your face was amazing. You have incredible strength and I just know these new knees are going to give you new life!
